Asia EFCCM Survey Results

Website, Retreat, and Leadership Priorities
The incoming EFCCM Asia Director’s Oct-Nov survey sent to Asia personnel generated 10 responses representing 12 missionaries.
70% would like a website.
50% would like a retreat.
All weighed in on ranking leadership priorities for the region.

WEBSITE
70% indicated they would like a website. Most of those who stated they did not want a website still answered the ranking questions about what they would like to see on that website.

89% would like a website that emphasizes resources for missionaries. Ministry descriptions, country profiles, and Asia Director updates each received a 67% ranking.

Tentative conclusion
: The Asia Director will try to roll out a website in January 2019 that includes resources, ministry descriptions, country profiles, and Asia Director updates.

RETREAT
Half of those surveyed wanted a retreat and the other half didn’t.
Most of those who stated they did not want a retreat still answered the questions about preferred month and location.

Retreat Month
44% of respondents would like a retreat in April. The next closest preferred months were March, June, and October at 22% each.

Retreat Location
88% felt that Thailand would be the best place for a retreat. The next closest ranking was Canada at 25%.

Tentative conclusion
: The Asia Director will work toward holding an EFCCM Asia retreat in April 2020 in Thailand, with the understanding that not all will be able or want to attend. He hopes that a retreat will nudge us closer toward a number of his emphases for the Asia region: communicating, networking, and equipping.

DESIRED ASIA REGION LEADERSHIP EMPHASES
Results are ranked below from highest to lowest score: communicate, care, network, equip, and recruit. These verbs, in that order, have become the tagline for this website and for regional leadership.
